Schmitts Gay (SNL) – 1991
This sketch was created during one of the talent peaks of Saturday Night Live. Adam Sandler and Chris Farley were just starting out and had been on the show for a year when “Schmitts Gay” aired in 1991. Taking a hilarious jab at the current beer industries marketing campaigns lead to one of SNL’s all-time great mock-commercials. RIP Chris Farley.

Coldcock Malt Liquor (SNL)
Hoping to have the same success as “Schmitts Gay”, SNL created a spoof commercial at the expense of malt liquor’s. In its short run time, the commercial provides a continuously unfunny joke. However, it is always funny to see a young Chris Rock and Tim Meadows somewhere in his 45 year career at SNL.

A.M. Ale (SNL)
Not gonna lie, this might be one of SNL’s worst mock-commercials. It has so much potential but just ends up falling flat; everyone in the commercial carries on with their lives without any mishaps. This might as well been a Sunny Delight commercial…..speaking of Sunny D.

Samuel Jackson Beer (Chapelle’s Show)
“I want that purple stuff!”. As you can see I think Dave Chapelle is pretty alright, so it should come as no surprise that the best sketch beer is none other than SAMUEL JACKSON BEER! Chapelle Show started off with a bang and never let up until its unfortunate abrupt ending.
